Year 1 Trip

A visit to the Museum of Childhood

Year 1 trip to Museum of Childhood

In science Year 1 have been learning about different materials and their properties. They looked at different toys and tested them to see what they were made of and if they could float in water or sink and also if they could dissolve or were insoluble.

To investigate further they went on a trip to the Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green – using both underground and overground trains! It was a really lovely trip with plenty to see including a huge robot with lots of moving cogs and some really old teddy bears.
