School Council

Ferry Lane now has it’s very own school council, made up entirely of pupils. The candidates were all interviewed by the head teacher and other staff members before being elected. It was a challenging process as so many pupils had fantastic thoughts and ideas for the school but in the end 2 pupils from each year group were chosen as well as a sub-committee of one pupil from each year to cover absences.

The school council will meet regularly to discuss current affairs in the school, debate how to spend money raised through events and share any new ideas and visions.

Pupils were awarded certificates and badges in assembly and will meet next week at the first council meeting. Well done to all!
