The annual Pendarren trip was as exciting and enjoyable as ever. Year 6 spent a week in the Brecon Beacons, in Wales, exploring the landscape, experiencing new activities and having a fantastic time.
The trip encourages children to connect more with nature and to learn new skills and enjoy being away from the city. The children kayaked, hiked, played in the (cold) sea and sat around a campfire. Everyone behaved beautifully and it was a very successful trip.

Thank you to Jonathan, an ex-pupil of Ferry Lane, for delivering a careers talk to Year 6 which followed on from our vegan food tasting session. We learned how he started his business 'V.italkitchen' and his aim to raise awareness of the health benefits of plant-based foods.🌱 pic.twitter.com/60dX…
We were treated to an outstanding performance of 'Scroogical' by #WestEndinSchools this afternoon. Everyone enjoyed the retelling of 'A Christmas Carol' that was full of joyful songs, actions and Christmas spirit!🎄 pic.twitter.com/CXDT…
