Trees in Playground

From The Woodland Trust

New trees in our playground

We recently applied for some free trees from The Woodland Trust and were successful. They gave us 30 saplings which we have planted and will eventually grow into a hedge.

This has been planted across the rear of the playground and will eventually mean our playground is more private and cannot be seen by the public. It also means we are creating a more environmentally friendly and greener space to encourage wildlife and protect nature in our urban area.

Well done and thank you to our staff and pupils who helped to plant these small trees.
